Hey there! Welcome back to yet another exciting blog by Aao Sochte Hain :)

Running Away: leaving or escaping from a place, person, or situation.

Travelling: Journey from one place to another, exploring distant and new places.

Are you travelling or running away

Now that we've clarified the context, let's delve into the subject of whether one is embarking on a journey or seeking escape. One of my closest friends has a deep passion for travel, and regularly, she sets out to discover new cities. Almost every month, I receive news from her about her upcoming trips to destinations like Kerala, Ladakh, Udaipur, or other exciting places. She thoroughly enjoys discussing her travels, deriving valuable insights from each adventure, and, of course, returning with a treasure trove of new experiences!

Sounds so cool right? Well, it is!

On the other side, I have another friend who frequently expresses a desire to escape her current surroundings, often lamenting, "Why is everything going wrong for me? It feels like there's nothing positive in my future." She harbours strong dislikes for various aspects of her life. Recently, she took a vacation to her home country, and she messaged me with these words: "This is wonderful; I'm not burdened by any thoughts at the moment. It's incredibly peaceful, and I can finally unwind."

Now! I want to ask you guys: among these two friends, who is engaged in genuine travel, and who might be seeking an escape? Some may argue that life can become overwhelming, and it's perfectly acceptable to take a break and relax, life can indeed be stressful, and taking a break is not only acceptable but often necessary!

Let's continue the story, The second girl never came back, she just thought it was better to be where you could relax, and live a peaceful & comfortable life.

Now, again I want to ask you guys, Is it acceptable to evade challenges and forgo opportunities in favor of staying within one's comfort zone? Countless articles, along with quotes from accomplished individuals and even monks, emphasize the importance of venturing beyond comfort zones for personal growth. Our parents, elder siblings, teachers, or anyone with more life experience often advise us that confronting challenges and evolving is essential.

Am I wrong? I know I am not.

Exploring various cities can be a fantastic experience, and taking a break from your routine is undoubtedly beneficial. However, completely abandoning your journey and escaping isn't a constructive approach. It suggests a lack of self-confidence and the belief that you can overcome challenges. It's not about demonstrating anything to others; it's a personal journey focused solely on self-belief and self-improvement.

Whether it's a relationship issue, workplace pressure, financial hardship, or even more significant challenges, stepping away for a break can empower you to return with renewed strength. No one has the authority to tell you that you can't or that you are not enough!
