Why does everyone want that life?

Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans. -John Lennon
Many people read the quote, and some of them understood it!

The Instagram LIFE!
Someone texted me one day on Instagram saying, "Hey, you have an amazing life and so many friends in Dubai." That's when it hit me. I wondered for a moment, what made him believe I had an ideal life and friends. I repeatedly checked my story after that, hehe.
Then I replied, "Hey, thanks for the compliment, but the grass is always greener on the other side," and I never argued back after that. Why does everyone believe that Instagram depicts the lives we lead? I felt bad that anyone would make a comparison between their situation and mine, let alone someone who doesn't even know me. Comparing your life to someone else's is not logical.

By only looking at their Instagram profiles, we cannot know what the other person is thinking, experiencing, or feeling at that precise moment.
First of all, leaving your house, your closest friends, and everything you know, is a bit difficult!
Secondly, stop comparing your life to that of others. Whether it be good or bad, you need to walk a mile in their shoes before understanding where they are coming from.
Third and most important point, we should simply enjoy each day as it comes.
Why do you desire that LIFE?
Are you dissatisfied with your friends and family, your job, your habits, suggestions, or nature? If yes, why? but If not, why we are comparing our lives then?
Consider how boring it would be if you had everything you ever desired without having to pray for it, ask for it or struggle for it. We think it's going to be a perfect life, but it's not.
What do you think? According to our idolised actors, influencers, and stars on YouTube, they portray themselves accurately and lead ideal lives. Well, No! they don't tell you the truth about their struggles. They don't talk about their family problems, financial difficulties, or the fact that sometimes they really don't want to make a video or reel but still have to because it's their job.
You don't have to behave or act like someone else or feel envious of them because, well, they don't have a perfect life. They fight their challenges. Some individuals would argue that if you have money, you have everything you need, have no problems, and can do whatever you want. Believe me, the wealthy are not the happiest people on the planet.
So, while talking to my younger self, who thought life was a fairytale once you leave your country, I told her it's not easy! Finding love and living happily ever after, is not realistic, and leaving your best friends & family behind is extremely difficult!

Life didn't happen the way I expected it to because it has its plans and timing. What I've learned is that working hard for what you want to be, staying positive, and allowing your emotions to flow, as well as spending some alone time with yourself and understanding exactly what you're feeling, will help a lot. I still want that life, but it is not inspired by an actress or a celebrity. I'm excited to see how my life unfolds over the next few years; I'm working hard, yes it's difficult at times, and you want to cry, but it's better to cry than to compare yourself to someone else.
Your's is a beautiful life too!
Aao Sochte hain that a good life will have some bad days too, the days will be fine but the nights might hurt, sometimes it will become very difficult to express our feelings and emotions but in the end, it will be beautiful and blessed.
So dream on, but don't judge, compare, envy and become obsessed with that life cause thinking and stressing over it will not make it happen for you :)
